The White House is to hold a summit on Wednesday to discuss the next steps in the road to advanced air mobility (AAM).

Hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), the summit will look at drones and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Responsible and equitable adoption of new tech

Federal Aviation Administration acting chief Billy Nolen, Joby Aviation CEO JoeBen Bevirt and NASA Administrator Bill Nelson are among those expected to attend.

The White House said the summit would assess “future of aviation in America and the regulatory strategy towards responsible and equitable adoption of these technologies”, Reuters reported.
