London Southend Jet Centre to extend opening hours

The opening of easyJet’s base at London Southend Airport has allowed the London Southend Jet Centre (LSJC), to extend its operating hours, enhancing its competitiveness with other business aviation hubs serving the UK capital.
LSJC’s current opening hours are from 06.30am to 10pm. As of 31 March, the dedicated business aviation facility will operate year-round from 6am to 1.30am. With no slot restrictions and competitive ramp parking, the extended operating hours will ensure greater accessibility particularly for early morning transatlantic arrivals or those departing late at night.
The new opening hours enhance LSJC’s position as a hub for business aviation serving the UK’s capital. London Biggin Hill is currently open from 6.30am to 11pm on weekdays and 8am to 10pm on the weekends. Meanwhile, Farnborough Airport is open from 7am to 10pm on weekdays and 8 am to 8pm on weekends.
A full-service FBO facility, LSJC provides VIP services for all ground handling requirements including aircraft refuelling, cleaning and catering. It is also well served by rail from London with direct trains to Liverpool Street in 52 minutes and to Stratford in 43 minutes, while a helicopter journey to the centre of London takes less than 12 minutes. Biggin’s London Heli Shuttle takes just six minutes.
