The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is a long-standing supporter of the Bahrain International Airshow, and its Typhoons have become a regular feature. This year, the RSAF contingent includes two ‘Tranche 3’ Eurofighter Typhoons (one wearing a special Saudi 94th National Day livery), a Boeing F-15SA Advanced Eagle (also wearing the latest National Day colour scheme), and seven BAE Hawk Mk 65/65A aircraft from the Saudi Hawks display team, supported by a Lockheed C-130H Hercules.

This may be the last opportunity for many Bahrainis to see the Saudi Hawks’ Mk 65 aircraft, as the team will soon re-equip with the latest Mk 165, the first of which was formally unveiled at the last World Defence Show in Riyadh.
