€100 long-range, low-cost Wizz Air A321XLR flights

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air is to launch its first long-range service aboard its new single-aisle A321XLR aircraft, with low-cost flights between Europe and the Middle East inkeeping with the airline’s characteristic no-frills style.
From June 2025, Wizz will commence daily services between Milan and Abu Dhabi, with tickets already onsale from $99.99 (one way). The flight will last over seven hours and is “the first of many offerings that will leverage the Airbus A321XLR’s extended range and efficiency, revolutionising intercontinental travel and making it more accessible than before,” stated the airline.
“We’re already seeing several five to six long ultra-low-cost routes with great satisfaction to our customers, and the XLR will extend our outstanding proposition to seven to height hour long flights,” commented Wizz Air CEO József Váradi.
With Wizz to operate the first A321XLR based in Italy from Milan Malpensa airport, “this new type of aircraft will indeed allow us to diversify routes, increase capacity and seasonality of flights, and modify Malpensa’s offering on extended range routes,” commented Armando Bruini, CEO of SEA Milan Airports.
