UrbanLink inks new maintenance deal for electric fleet
January 9, 2025
UrbanLink Air Mobility, a Florida-based pioneer in advanced air mobility (AAM), has announced a partnership with FEAM Aero, the largest provider of aircraft line maintenance services in the United States.
The agreement ensures maintenance and support for UrbanLink’s growing all-electric fleet, which includes electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and electric sea vessels.
UrbanLink, launched in April 2024, is breaking ground as the first independent U.S. operator to integrate eVTOL aircraft into its fleet, aiming to transform regional transportation with sustainable, multi-modal connectivity.
The company’s fleet features eVTOL aircraft from CRISALION Mobility, the nine-passenger Eviation ALICE electric aircraft, and electric sea vessels from Regent Craft and Artemis Technologies, alongside Traverse Aero’s Orca drones.
FEAM Aero brings significant expertise to the partnership, with a global presence across 52 line stations and over 130,000 annual flights supported. Its portfolio spans maintenance, training, and technical services, now expanded to include next-generation AAM solutions.
“Partnering with FEAM Aero ensures that our fleet operates at the highest standards of safety and reliability,” said Ed Wegel, Founder and Chairman of UrbanLink. “UrbanLink has developed a comprehensive, integrated strategy for global operations. As we move toward launching the first all-electric AAM fleet in the US, FEAM Aero’s expertise will be instrumental in reducing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.”
