UrbanLink Air Mobility has announced an order of ten Eviation Alice ten aircraft, with options for ten more; completing the third leg of the South-Florida-based AAM startup’s all-electric operating plan.

The nine-seat, all-electric Alice – projected to be able to fly up to 250 nautical miles – will “enable UrbanLink to offer unparalleled service while contributing to a greener future,”  explained Eviation CEO Andre Stein. “This partnership with UrbanLink to operate our Alice aircraft marks significant milestone in our shared vision of creating a sustainable and efficient transportation network”.

The Alice order complements another recent announcement by UrbanLink: the purchase of 20 Lilium jets, targeted to enter service from 2026. “While many airlines have discussed the potential of operating eVTOL aircraft, none have made a definitive commitment. UrbanLink will be the first airline in the US to integrate eVTOL aircraft into its fleet,” said UrbanLink leader Ed Wegel, in May 2024.

Established in April 2024, UrbanLink is advancing its mission to “lead the US market in all-electric, zero-emissions transportation solutions”: including the purchase of sea-going vessels such as Regent’s Viceroy seaglider and Artemis Technologies’ luxury water taxi.

“Our strategic vision is supported by three pillars: regional eVTOL aircraft, long-range electric aircraft, and carbon-free sea craft,” said UrbanLink founder and CEO Ed Wegel, with the sea vessels to “seamlessly integrate with [UrbanLink’s] eVTOL route network”.
