UAS eyes growth in Asia Pacific’s business aviation sector

March 5, 2025

As it marks 25 years of global trip support expertise, UAS International Trip Support has underlined the ripe opportunities it sees within Asia’s business aviation sector.
The business is particularly enthusiastic about Southeast Asia; India and into Australia where Omar Hosari, UAS founder and CEO highlighted the “significant increase in flight activity”, which is underpinned by new airports being built and a growing number of ultra-high-net-worth-individuals in the region. He was speaking at the Business Aviation Asia Forum & Expo (BAAFEx) 2025 taking place this week in Singapore.
Commenting on the rapid growth in Asia Pacific, which overall experienced a 12.5% increase in 2024 on the previous year, he said, “Locally, business aircraft departures from Singapore’s Changi and Seletar airports in 2023 rose by almost 28% over the past five years.”
He emphasised that in response to this growth, UAS is seeing increasing demand from regional operators for reliable trip support services, including ground handling, refuelling, international emissions and tax compliance as well as aircraft sales and travel solutions.
Hosari also revealed that having added a Bombardier Global Express to UAS’ air charter fleet, the business has seen high demand for this particular aircraft type in Asia. Designed for the large and long-range jet market and capable of carrying 18 passengers (plus three crew) the Global Express is well suited for charters to India, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Looking ahead, Hosari concluded, “Our 25 years of experience and reputation for reliability have earned us the trust of aviation professionals across the world. As the Asia Pacific market continues to grow we are perfectly placed to support the needs of this dynamic region.”
