BAE Systems’ commercial aircraft support business is entering its next chapter under a new name: Horizon Solutions™ Aftermarket Services and Support.

It’s a brand evolution that reflects a more integrated approach to keeping commercial aircraft reliable and ready for takeoff with value-driven services to extend the life of flight-critical systems.

“Horizon Solutions’ services are designed to minimise downtime and maximise performance,” said Andrea Davis, senior director for customer services and support with BAE Systems. “Customers benefit from access to needed parts, and factory-quality repairs that meet OEM standards, including best-in-class full authority digital engine control (FADEC) overhauls.”

Additionally, the availability of trade-in programs helps reduce lifecycle costs, while flexible repair and overhaul options allow customers to tailor service to operational needs.

The defining advantage of Horizon Solutions, however, is BAE Systems’ commitment to collaboration. Customers have access to aviation experts – including director-level contacts worldwide – supported by a 24/7 service team, test solutions, and dedicated technical support staff.

With strategic global service locations and decades of proven performance, BAE Systems delivers confidence that an aircraft will be ready when it’s time to take to the skies.

Horizon Solutions turns aftermarket support into a competitive advantage

In the commercial aviation sector, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services must keep fleets available, compliant, and value-driven.

Beyond routine flight operations, it is work that focuses on upgrading critical onboard systems during scheduled maintenance. This keeps aircraft in service longer and maintains the fleet’s value over time.

Commercial operators may manage these services in-house or with the expertise of specialised providers like BAE Systems to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-added services and support across diverse fleets and global operations.

BAE Systems’ Horizon Solutions’ commercial aftermarket support goes beyond maintenance. It is about keeping aircraft available, operations predictable, and costs under control.

“Horizon Solutions turns aftermarket support into a true advantage,” said Davis. “We combine decades of trusted performance, global reach, and OEM-level expertise to keep fleets flying today and positioning them for reliable operations well into the future.”
