Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is poised for continued growth in 2025, with expectations to deliver up to 85 commercial aircraft and 155 executive jets this year, marking an 18% increase on 2024 deliveries.

The company made the announcement during its 2024 earnings call on Thursday 27 February, highlighting that despite supply chain disruptions it successfully delivered 203 jets and three multi-mission KC-390 Millenniums last year Embraer has been steadily increasing its annual deliveries since 2021 and in 2024 achieved record revenues of US$6.39 billion, driven by the delivery of 73 commercial aircraft and 130 business jets. Additionally, Embraer reported a strong backlog of US$26.3 billion, the largest in its history.

2025 deliveries

For 2025, Embraer anticipates even higher delivery volumes that will push revenues to between US$7 billion and US$7.5 billion. The company expects to deliver between 77 and 86 commercial aviation aircraft and  between 145 to 155 business jets.

Describing 2024 as a “remarkable year for Embraer,” CEO Francisco Gomes Neto, stated, “We are well-positioned for continued growth in 2025 and beyond, driven by our innovative product portfolio, strong customer relationships and a commitment to sustainable aerospace solutions.”

2024 highlights

Key highlights from Embraer’s 2024 performance include revenue growth across all business units with commercial aviation revenue rising to US$981 million, an increase of 31% year-on-year, driven by higher aircraft deliveries. The company also reported strong adjusted free cash flow with US$995.5 million in Q4 2024 and US$675.6 million for the full year. The company also ended 2024 with a reduced net debt position of US$110.7 million, down from US$780.7 million in 2023.

Last year Embraer revealed wide ranging upgrades and performance improvements across its commercial jet line up. Upgrades on the E195-E2, E190-E2 and E175 include fuel burn and range improvements, as well as avionics and cabin upgrades. This week the company secured a firm order for 15 E190-E2 aircraft from Japan’s ANA and, earlier this month, finalised a record US$7 billion deal to supply  up to 212 business jets to Flexjet.
