FINN Sessions will return to Farnborough International Airshow in 2022 to provide a forum to share and discuss the major trends affecting the aerospace industry today and in the future.

On-floor theatres will host thought provoking talks, panel discussions, seminars and keynote speakers providing all visitors to the show the opportunity to challenge and interact with industry leaders.

The inaugural FINN Sessions took place at FIA2018 and were met with an overwhelmingly positive response.

‘UltraFan: Defining Sustainable Air Travel for Decades to Come’

On Monday 18 July 2022, a FINN Session titled ‘UltraFan: Defining Sustainable Air Travel for Decades to Come’ will be held from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM.

Rolls-Royce is building the world’s largest aero-engine, UltraFan, which will deliver a 25 per cent fuel efficiency improvement compared with first generation Trent engines.

The demonstrator engine will run for the first time later this year utilising 100 per cent Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

The scalable UltraFan concept will help redefine sustainable air travel for decades to come. Learn more with speaker Alan Newby, Director Aerospace Technology & Future at Rolls Royce.

The Session will be hosted in FINN 4: Hall 4.
