Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, has deepened its partnership with Airbus by expanding its Flight Hour Services (FHS) contract to include the carrier’s incoming A330neo aircraft.

The agreement will see Airbus continue to provide tailored maintenance support for the airline’s widebody operations under a power-by-the-hour model, covering services such as on-site inventory, parts pooling, repairs, and component support.

The new deal builds on an existing relationship that has seen Airbus support Malaysia Airlines’ A330ceo and A350 fleets since 2017.

“We are honoured by Malaysia Aviation Group’s ongoing trust in Airbus Flight Hour Services. This collaboration reflects MAG’s dedication to operational excellence, and we are proud to support the new A330neo fleet with solutions designed to ensure a smooth entry-into-service,” said Balinda Zhang, Head of Commercial Services APAC at Airbus.
