February 7, 2025

KLM has launched an internal investigation following a complaint about alleged inappropriate digital messages about employees.
The airline’s security department, with the support of an external investigative agency, is looking into the allegations.
“KLM has initiated an investigation into possible inappropriate behaviour by employees,” the airline said in a statement. “The reason for this investigation is a complaint regarding inappropriate digital messages about colleagues.”
The company has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace, stating that inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If the investigation confirms misconduct, KLM has pledged to take appropriate action.
The airline has also encouraged any employees who have experienced inappropriate behavior—either currently or in the past—to come forward. A dedicated team of experts is available to handle complaints confidentially and offer support.
KLM has not disclosed further details about the allegations or individuals involved but emphasised that ensuring a safe work environment remains a priority.
“Our primary concern is now for colleagues who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced inappropriate conduct,” the airline said.
