Farnborough International has postponed the Global Urban & Advanced Air Summit (GUAAS) until 2022 following continued disruption to international travel caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
GUAAS was originally scheduled to take place across September 7-8 2021 at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre (FIECC). The event will be postponed until spring 2022.
Gareth Rogers, Chief Executive Officer, Farnborough International Ltd said: “As a world-class, face-to-face event that places the meaningful collaboration of the global Advanced Air Mobility community at its heart, the current restrictions surrounding international travel to and from the UK means that despite being ready to welcome delegates to Farnborough this September, it is not possible to deliver our visitors, exhibitors and partners with the best opportunity to network, learn and do business with their global counterparts.”
Two days of innovation, conversation plus technology showcases
He added: “To ensure that the event continues to provide the value of partnership development and sharing of groundbreaking insight for an international audience, GUAAS will be returning with a bang in early 2022 to deliver two days of innovation, connection, progressive industry conversation and technology showcases.”
Rogers thanked the event’s partners, exhibitors and global visitors for their continued support, adding that he was looking forward to welcoming delegates to the event at the FIECC next year.
Further details on GUAAS 2022, including dates, will be published in the coming weeks
