Embraer and Air Serbia sign Components Pool Programme Agreement

On 19 December 2024 Embraer announced that it has signed a multi-year contract with Air Serbia to join its so-called Pool Programme, which supports more than 60 airlines worldwide. Under the terms of this agreement, Air Serbia will receive support for a wide range of repairable components for the two E195s that are joining its fleet.

Embraer leverages its technical expertise and vast component services network to provide support to airlines worldwide, resulting in significant savings in repair and inventory costs.  Embraer Services & Support’s portfolio offers a wide range of competitive solutions which enable each customer to support their aircraft, with a reduction in warehousing space and resources required for repair management, while still providing guaranteed performance levels.

Miroslav Musulin, Air Serbia’s Technical Director, noted that: “Joining Embraer’s Pool Programme represents an important milestone for Air Serbia as we integrate the E195 aircraft into our fleet. This collaboration ensures access to a reliable and efficient support system, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence while optimizing costs and minimizing downtime.”

Air Serbia is the proud successor of the first national airline Aeroput, which was founded on 17 June 1927, making it the seventh oldest airline in the world that is still operating. Air Serbia has been operating under its current name since 26 October 2013, and is today playing a key role in the development of aviation in Serbia, and of the Serbian travel and tourism industry.

Air Serbia’s fleet currently consists of three wide-body, 14 narrow-body and ten turboprop aircraft, with scheduled services and charters serving more than 90 destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, Asia, and Africa.
