Boeing is reportedly planning to add a new 737 Max production line at its Washington facility next year as it plans to increase deliveries of the single-aisle aircraft.

Boeing’s Everett Site is heralded as having the largest manufacturing building in the world, having produced the 747, 767, 777, and the 787 planes.

Vast facility

It was originally built in 1967 to manufacture the 747, and the main assembly building has grown to enclose 472 million cubic feet of space over 98.3 acres.

Everett employees also currently manufacture modern twin-aisle aircraft such as the 787 Dreamliner and lead development work of the 777X.
