Boeing received a total of 49 orders In November 2024, and there were fourteen cancellations. It delivered just 13 aircraft.
Boeing’s poor performance compares particularly badly with Airbus’ numbers. Over the complete year of 2024, Boeing has now received 427 orders and 57 cancellations, leaving a net of 370. By comparison, rival Airbus has booked 779 orders with 37 cancellations, making the net total 742.
Boeing has delivered 314 aircraft in 2024 so far, with Airbus having delivered 643.
Boeing’s November orders included 15 KC-46As for the USAF and 34 737MAXs – 15 for undisclosed customers, 14 for BOC Aviation, and five for Alaska Airlines. Two for TUI were cancelled, with 12 more 737MAX cancellations for undisclosed customers.
Boeing delivered nine 737MAX aircraft, two each to Allegiant Air and United Airlines, and single aircraft to Air Lease Corporation, American Airlines, Copa Airlines, Korean Air and WestJet.
Boeing delivered two Boeing 777Fs, one each to Emirates and Maersk Aviation Holding. The month’s deliveries were rounded off by a pair of 787-9s – one to Royal Air Maroc, the other to United Airlines.
