Second A320 Full Flight Simulator Ready for Training at BAA Training France

BAA Training, a leading provider of aviation training solutions, has added a second Airbus A320 full flight simulator (FFS) to its facility near Paris Orly Airport.

The addition bolsters the centre’s capabilities, which already include simulators for Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 747-400, and Airbus A320neo aircraft, catering to pilots and airlines globally.

The newly installed simulator meets the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) latest CS-FSTD(A) Issue 2 certification standards.

Manufactured in 2024, the A320neo simulator is equipped with advanced technology, including the Honeywell H3PC19 Flight Management Guidance Computer and CFM LEAP-1A26 engine simulation. It is now operational and ready for training.

“This full flight simulator, the 16th across our locations, marks another significant step in our ongoing expansion,” said Marijus Ravoitis, CEO of BAA Training.

BAA Training France offers a comprehensive suite of pilot training services, ranging from ATPL Integrated courses and MPL programmes to Type Rating, license renewals, and proficiency checks.

It also provides flexible leasing options for airlines, ensuring tailored training solutions.

This expansion is part of BAA Training’s broader network, which features 16 state-of-the-art simulators across multiple locations and a team of skilled instructors.

The move reflects the growing demand for advanced pilot training as the aviation industry continues its recovery and growth.

“With expanded simulator fleet, BAA Training France can better address the evolving needs of airlines, ensuring we remain a trusted partner in their operational success,” said Vytautas Ledakas, Managing Director of BAA Training France.
