Breaking: Riyadh Air orders up to 50 Airbus A350s at Paris Air Show

There was no lunchtime lull for Airbus as it confirmed a firm order from Riyadh Air for 25 A350-1000 aircraft with options to acquire an additional 25 A350s.
The deal marked the second of the day for the French manufacturer after it confirmed an order from AviLease this morning and more orders expected this afternoon.

The deal includes options to purchase up to 25 additional A350s with Riyadh Air’s CFO, Adam Boukadida, stating the order “marks a significant step forward in building a world-class airline that reflects the ambitions of Vision 2030.”
Noting that the order sees Riyadh Air become the first airline in Saudi Arabia to operate the A350-1000, Boukadida added:
“The A350 will bring outstanding efficiency and comfort to our fleet, supporting our sustainability goals and enabling Riyadh Air to offer a premium experience while connecting Saudi Arabia to the world.”
