AirBaltic shows off 50th A220 with low-pass display

Latvian airline airBaltic has celebrated the delivery of its 50th Airbus A220-300 aircraft with a low-pass flyover.
The aircraft, registered as YL-ABX, features a special livery which was selected through a public competition.
AirBaltic, which operates an all-Airbus A220 fleet, has plans to expand its fleet to 100 aircraft by 2030, reinforcing its position as the largest A220-300 operator globally.
The carrier posted a video of flypast on social media, and said: “A historic arrival! Our 50th Airbus A220-300 has officially arrived in Riga Airport marking a major milestone for airBaltic and its growth towards a fleet of 100 Airbus A220-300. The aircraft performed a spectacular low-pass, making the moment even more special!”
