Korean Air is resuming and adding services to China and increasing frequencies on certain routes to Japan to meet increased consumer demand.
The additional services to China include the resumption of its Busan-Shanghai Pudong and Jeju-Beijing routes, with daily flights operating from 1 July.
It is also resuming the Seoul Incheon-Hefei service with five weekly flights from 19 August while the Busan-Beijing route takes off again on September 16 with six weekly flights
Last but not least is the reintroduction of the Seoul Incheon-Kunming service with four weekly flights from 14 October.
Certain established routes are also growing in frequency, with the Seoul Incheon-Yanji route increasing to daily flights from four weekly flights as of 1 June.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Incheon-Dalian route will temporarily see an increase by four flights to 11 weekly flights from 1 July to 15 September.
The daily Seoul Incheon-Tianjin route will run twice daily from 5 August to 20 October.
In addition, the Seoul Incheon-Ulaanbaatar route will be increased by two flights, with eight weekly flights from 1 June to 30 September.
Japan has also benefitted from the resumption of Korean’s Jeju service and expanded operations following increased customer demand.
The Jeju-Tokyo Narita route is resuming, with three flights a week operating from 19 July to 25 October.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Incheon-Okayama route will increase from three to five weekly flights from 3 August while the Seoul Incheon-Kagoshima route will also go from three to five weekly flights as of 2 September.
