Permanent SAF supply now available at Paris-Saclay-Versailles airport

TotalEnergies, Daher and Groupe ADP have combined forces to create a permanent SAF supply at Paris-Saclay-Versailles Airport, incorporating a blend of up to 35% SAF with conventional kerosene.
“We are delighted to be able to complete our offer with SAF for users of the Paris-Saclay-Versailles platform and this meet the strong demand from the aeronautics sector to reduce its carbon footprint,” commented Louise Tricoire, director of aviation and marine fuels at TotalEnergies. The company has been distributing fuel on the site for over 50 years and its new permanent SAF offering complements other multi-energy solutions, including two light aircraft electric charging stations and four electric refuelling vehicles.
TotalEnergies also aims to produce 1.5Mt of SAF by 2030, confirmed Tricoire, who described the development of sustainable aviation fuels as “fully in line with the company’s climate ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050”.
Nicolas Chabbert, CEO of the Daher Aircraft division, added: “This provision of sustainable aviation fuel at Paris-Saclay-Versailles Airport, where we have one of our main maintenance bases in France, is an important step for the promotion of these fuels to our customers”. Since 2022, the OEM has been using a SAF blend onboard its TBM and Kodiak aircraft, and is “strongly committed to the transition towards carbon neutrality by 2050”.
