Farnborough International Airshow 2026: The flying display revealed

Farnborough International Airshow has confirmed Fursan Al Emarat for its 2026 flying display schedule. Here's what else to watch for in the skies.

The flying display line-up for the Farnborough International Airshow has expanded to include the United Arab Emirates’ national aerobatic team, alongside new military helicopter demonstrations and parachute displays, commercial aircraft and private jets, and aerobatic teams—all of which will delight attendees. 

Fursan Al Emarat joins the lineup

The latest announcement from show organisers confirms that Fursan Al Emarat, the UAE National Aerobatics Team, will perform at this year’s show after arriving in Hampshire on 11 July to validate its display routine.

Fursan Al Emarat was founded in 2008 by elite pilots from the UAE Air Force and Air Defence and made its public debut in 2011.

Seven Hongdu L-15 aircraft fly in formation representing the seven emirates of the UAE, with smoke trails that reflect the UAE flag and a distinctive black-and-gold livery celebrating the emirates’ heritage.

  • GE Aerospace, SAAB 340B: daily display from Monday, 20 July through Friday, 24 July

Historic flying displays

One of the special treats of attending Farnborough is the opportunity to see historic aircraft take flight. This year’s show includes flying displays by:

  • Rolls-Royce, Vickers Supermarine Spitfire Pr.Mk.Xix: flying display on Thursday, 23 July and Friday, 24 July 
  • Ultimate Warbird Flight, P-51d Mustang: Friday, 24 July

Business jet flying displays

Business jets scheduled for flying displays at Farnborough include: 

  • Bombardier Global 8000: daily display from Monday 20 July through Friday 24 July

Advanced Air Mobility flying displays

The future of flight will also be on display in the skies above Farnborough:

  • BETA Technologies, CX300 daily display from Monday, 20 July through Friday, 24 July

Aerobatic flying display

For those who enjoy aerobatics, the Starlings Aerobatic Team will put on a dazzling flying display on Friday, 24 July.

Static display expands

Organisers have also announced new additions for the static display, which features commercial, military, rotary-wing, uncrewed and future combat capability aircraft. 

New static display additions include:

  • Textron – Cessna SkyCourier
  • Bell Helicopters – 505, 407, and MV-75
  • Turkish Aerospace – HÜRJET mock-up

Farnborough International Airshow returns this month

Running from 20-24 July 2026, Farnborough International Airshow will once again bring together aerospace, defence and space organisations for five days of aircraft demonstrations, product launches, technology showcases and commercial announcements.

Flying displays will take place each afternoon alongside the static aircraft exhibition, allowing visitors to see current and future aviation technologies both in the air and on the ground. 

The event concludes on Friday with Pioneers of Tomorrow, Farnborough’s dedicated STEM and careers programme to inspire the next generation of aerospace professionals. 

Organisers may update the flying display again as they continue to build the programme ahead of the event’s opening on 20 July.
