Emirates has brought its Airbus A350 into regular service on the Dubai–Amman route, with the aircraft making its debut landing at Queen Alia International Airport two weeks ahead of its originally planned launch date.

The inaugural flight, EK905, departed Dubai at 22:10 on 19 May and arrived in Amman shortly after midnight at 00:15 on 20 May. The return leg, EK906, left the Jordanian capital at 02:05 and touched down in Dubai at 06:05.

Configured in three classes, the newly delivered A350 features a total of 312 seats.

The Emirates A350 currently serves six other short and medium haul destinations including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Mumbai, and will soon start serving more destinations like Oslo, Istanbul, and Ho Chi Minh City. By the end of this year, the airline will serve 17 cities with the twin-jet widebody.

The addition of the A350 to the daily service is part of Emirates’ investment in the Jordanian market, a relationship that dates back to 1986.

The carrier says the move will help deepen connectivity between Jordan and the UAE, while supporting regional tourism.

Emirates also continues to operate its flagship A380 on the other daily service between Dubai and Amman, under flight numbers EK903/904.

“The Emirates A350 currently serves six other short and medium haul destinations including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Mumbai, and will soon start serving more destinations like Oslo, Istanbul, and Ho Chi Minh City, to name a few,” the airline said. “By the end of this year, the airline will serve 17 global cities with the A350.”
