Florida-based cargo startup 7Air could begin operations imminently, the carrier has confirmed, having received FAA Part 121 certification last week.

The regulatory operating permission brings to a conclusion a protracted wait for the company, realised “after countless months of hard work and dedication,” 7Air wrote on social media. “A huge shoutout to our CEO Amos Rodriguez and the incredible team at 7Air, whose tireless efforts have made this achievement possible”.

7Air’s “comprehensive services” include ACMI, CMI, full charters and ad-hoc charters, with domestic cargo operations set to start in the coming days. Its inaugural test flight (operating using its first 737-800 freighter) occurred last month, flying from its home base of Miami to Dallas, Texas.
