Passengers on European flights have faced another morning of security alerts, with a Ryanair flight reportedly targeted by a bomb threat and police investigating threats at Copenhagen Airport and Prague Airport.

Authorities have not established who is behind the threats or whether they are connected.
Ryanair flight from Rome targeted by bomb threat at Lisbon airport
A Ryanair flight arriving at Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport from Rome was reportedly the subject of a bomb threat on Friday morning.
Portugese media reported the service as Flight FR8196. According to reports, Portugal’s Public Security Police (PSP) received an alert about a possible explosive on board the aircraft.
According to Portuguese media, the alert was received through a phone call from a law enforcement officer, rather than an email as in Thursday’s incidents.
The flight arrived at Lisbon on Friday morning.
Copenhagen Airport faces renewed threats as police investigate
Police returned to Copenhagen Airport on Friday after receiving further threats.
Copenhagen police confirmed that officers were present at Denmark’s largest airport while investigations continued.
Copenhagen Airport confirmed the police presence but said flight operations were continuing normally.
It’s not yet clear what threats were made.

Prague Airport investigates renewed threats against passenger aircraft
Bomb threats have also been made against planes at Prague airport, according to Czech police.
Posting on X this morning (6 November), Czech police wrote:
“Today, the threat to place an improvised explosive device on board a number of aircraft arriving at and departing from Prague Airport is being repeated.
“In cooperation with Prague Airport, we have taken the necessary security measures with minimal impact on the airport’s normal operations. We continue to investigate the case.”
Prague Airport has confirmed that airport operations are not affected.
European bomb threats trigger flight diversions and fighter jet escorts
The latest alerts follow extensive disruption across Europe on 5 November, when nearly 30 passenger flights were reportedly targeted by bomb threats. All turned out to be hoaxes.
Airlines affected included Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Finnair, Wizz Air, LOT Polish Airlines and Aegean Airlines.
