AJET, the newly branded wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, has opened ticket sales.
Customers can now book flights with AJET on its website ahead of the airline’s first flight on 31 March 2024.
The airline, originally called AnadoluJet, was established in 2008 to improve air transport links for Anatolia, has reunited over 150 million guests with their loved ones in 16 years.
The former Turkish Airlines brand will operate under the ‘AJET Air Transportation Inc.’ name as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
AJET will operate flights to a total of 93 destinations, including 41 domestic and 52 international, including a range of services from the UK.
With its fleet of 95 aircraft, AJET will fly to a total of 44 countries this summer, with a target of 200 aircraft within the next 10 years.
Even before its inaugural flight, AJET has already announced network expansion, adding routes between Istanbul and London Stansted Airport, Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, Ankara Esenboğa Airport, and Rome-Fiumicino Airport.
This sub-brand will expand Turkish Airlines’ expansive reach across the globe, adding more flights to the Group’s existing 360 strong network.
