December 12, 2024
Three ATR 72-600 aircraft destined for Cambodia Angkor Air, due for delivery in 2025, will augment its existing fleet of five – following the flag carrier’s name change in January. The aircraft were purchased by Chinese lessor HNCA Aviation Finance Leasing.
“The ATR 72-600 will allow Cambodia Angkor Air to enhance its domestic services and strengthen links across South-East Asia, ensuring connectivity for people and businesses alike,” commented ATR chief executive officer Nathalle Tarrnaud Laude.
Cambodia Angor Air vice president and CEO Zhan David added: “We are excited about the opportunities this new fleet will bring, enhancing or connectivity both domestically and internationally while supporting the growth of the Cambodian aviation industry”.
