Delta Connection CRJ900 crashes on landing at Toronto airport

A Delta Connection CRJ900 (N932XJ) crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, with images from the scene showing the aircraft upside down.

A Delta Connection CRJ900 (N932XJ) crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, with images from the scene showing the aircraft upside down.

Early reports said eight people were injured but there were no fatalities after the incident involving Flight 4819, a service operated by Endeavor Air, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, from Minneapolis.

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, wrote on X: “Our union is responding to an incident in Toronto with Delta Air Lines Endeavor Flight 4819.

“AFA crew were working this flight. Reports are there are no fatalities. Please do not speculate on this incident as everyone works to gather information and support those involved.”

An airport spokesperson said: “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”
