Airbus October orders and deliveries

Airbus has announced its October orders and deliveries, which add 82 aircraft to the order book and 62 to the delivery tally!

Airbus took orders for 82 aircraft in October 2024 and delivered 62, to 32 customers, including Aegean Airlines, Air Cairo, Air France, Air Lease Corporation, Avianca, Breeze Airways, Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, China Eastern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Condor, Corsair, Delta Air Lines, easyJet, Frontier Airlines, Huaxia Airlines, Iberia, IndiGo, ITA Airways, Japan Airlines, Jet2, Jetstar Airways, Juneyao Air, KM Malta Airlines, Loong Air, Lufthansa, Nouvelair Tunesie, Pegasus Airlines, the Royal Saudi Air Force, Sky Airline, Tibet Airlines, Transavia France, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines, VietJet Air, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Viva Aerobus, Volaris, Xiamen Airlines and Wizz Air.

August 2024 saw Airbus taking orders for 82 aircraft, and delivering 62 airliners, taking the 2024 totals to 749 orders (with 19 cancellations, reducing the net total to 730 orders). The number of deliveries stands at 559 aircraft.

The orders consisted of 15 A320neos for undisclosed customers, three A320neos for Drukair and a single ACJ320neo for what was coyly described as a private customer. There were also orders for one A321neo for American Airlines, two for Drukair and 60 for Riyadh Air.

Deliveries included seven A220-300s to Air France (2), Air Lease Corporation (1), Breeze Airways (2), Delta Air Lines (1) and ITA Airways (1, plus a single A220-100). The company delivered two A319neo aircraft, one each to China Southern Airlines and Tibet Airlines.

The A320neo accounted for 13 deliveries, with single aircraft for Aegean Airlines, Air Cairo, Avianca, China Eastern Airlines, easyJet, Huaxia Airlines, KM Malta Airlines, Nouvelair Tunesie, Sky Airline and Transavia France, and three for IndiGo.

Airbus delivered 32 A321neos to Cathay Pacific (1), Cebu Pacific (2), China Eastern Airlines (2), China Southern Airlines (1), Condor (1), Delta Air Lines (3), easyJet (3), Frontier Airlines (2), Iberia (1), IndiGo (1), Jet2 (1), Jetstar Airways (2), Juneyao Air (1), Loong Air (1), Pegasus Airlines (1), Turkish Airlines (2), United Airlines (1), VietJet Air (2), Viva Aerobus (1), Volaris (1), Xiamen Airlines (1), and Wizz Air (1)

In addition to the 55 single-aisle narrow bodies, Airbus delivered single A330-900s to Corsair, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic, a single A330-200 to the Royal Saudi Air Force,  a single A350-1000 to to Japan Airlines, and a single A350-900 to Lufthansa.
