Airbus earnings update coming

Airbus is expected to provide further insight into production and delivery performance when it publishes its first-quarter 2026 financial results on 28 April.

Like its US rival, Boeing, Airbus has been working through supply chain constraints that have slowed production across the aerospace industry in recent years. The March report shows Airbus is gradually increasing output of its widebody planes, which is welcome news for airlines eager to refresh their older long-haul fleets with more fuel-efficient aircraft.

With more than 400 aircraft ordered already in the first quarter, Airbus enters the rest of 2026 with strong order momentum as airlines continue to invest in fleet renewal and capacity growth.
