All-business airline beOnd is coming to London and Paris with luxury flights to the Maldives
March 27, 2026
Premium leisure carrier beOnd is set to expand its European network with new routes to London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, as it continues to position itself as a high-end alternative on long-haul leisure routes.
The airline plans to launch three weekly flights on each route from Malé, with services expected to begin in December 2026. Flights will operate overnight in both directions using Airbus A321 aircraft configured in an all-business class layout.
Each service will include a refuelling stop at Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, although routings remain subject to regional airspace availability.
BeOnd hopes to start the new connections in December 2026.
beOnd launches luxury Maldives flights from London and Paris
The planned London and Paris routes build on beOnd’s existing European footprint, which already includes services from Munich, Zurich and Milan.
The airline is targeting affluent leisure travellers with a fully premium product, offering lie-flat seating across its entire cabin rather than a traditional multi-class configuration.

Despite ongoing disruption across Middle Eastern airspace, beOnd has continued operating its European routes, adapting flight paths where necessary. These have included technical stops in Riyadh and at Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project airport, while some Dubai routings have been temporarily suspended.
The airline has advised passengers travelling via Dubai to check flight status in advance, noting that schedules and routings may continue to evolve in response to regional conditions.
What you get onboard beOnd
beOnd offers a fully all-business class experience, with lie-flat seating across a small, boutique-style cabin designed for comfort and privacy rather than high capacity.

Onboard, passengers can expect multi-course dining with premium wines and Champagne, delivered in a more relaxed, personalised service style aimed at leisure travel.
On the ground, the experience includes priority check-in and boarding, along with access to third-party business class lounges.

Rather than bundling extras such as chauffeur transfers, the airline focuses on a seamless journey, with onward resort transfers in the Maldives typically arranged separately via seaplane or speedboat.

Small fleet supports beOnd’s all-business class growth strategy
Since launching scheduled operations in November 2023, beOnd has built a niche presence in the premium leisure segment.
The airline began with a specially configured Airbus A319 featuring 44 lie-flat business class seats, connecting the Maldives with destinations across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

It has since added a larger Airbus A321 with capacity for 68 passengers, maintaining its all-business class offering. The fleet currently consists of just two aircraft, with an average age of 23 years.
In an effort to differentiate itself, the airline introduced a “free flight guarantee”, offering to rebook customers with a different carrier in the “rare event of a flight disruption”.
If a business class seat isn’t available with a partner island, beOnd will rebook customers in economy class and provide a 100% refund on the sector, or offer a complete refund plus an additional 20% value travel voucher.
beOnd plans expansion in the Middle East and… beyond
Beyond Europe, beOnd is exploring further expansion in the Middle East.
The airline recently signed a letter of intent with Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs to pursue a local air operator certificate and establish operations in the kingdom, part of a broader strategy to build multiple operating bases.

This forms part of a wider growth plan, with the airline seeking $100 million in additional funding to support fleet expansion to as many as 56 aircraft by 2030.
Its long-term strategy includes basing 22 aircraft in the Maldives, 14 across Gulf Cooperation Council countries, 12 in India and 10 in the United States, underscoring ambitions to scale its premium leisure model globally.
