Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a multi-year contract with Air France-KLM to drive a data-driven transformation of the airline.

Through this partnership, TCS will support the group’s ambition to become the “world’s most data-centric airline” over the next three years.

Under this agreement, TCS will move Air France-KLM’s data infrastructure to the cloud, enabling the airline to phase out traditional data centres and adopt advanced, cloud-based solutions.

This cloud migration aims to enhance efficiency, streamline data management, and provide a modern technological framework for future growth and innovation across Air France-KLM’s operations, the companies said.

Pierre-Olivier Bandet, EVP and group CIO, Air France-KLM Group, said: “In a rapidly evolving industry, we are committed to becoming a champion of air transport in Europe, while fulfilling our role as a frontrunner of sustainable aviation.

“We are pleased to open a new and exciting chapter with our long-time partner, TCS, to make the most out of our data and new technologies to become even more data-centric and agile to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
