First wave of speakers announced for Farnborough International Space Show and ISRSE-40

Babcock and Rolls-Royce have also announced their presence and support of the Farnborough International organised exhibition.

Leaders from NASA, Babcock International Group, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, the UK Ministry of Defence, and the US Government are set to speak at the Farnborough International Space Show and the 40th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment, both taking place in the UK in March 2025. Additionally, industry trailblazers Babcock and Rolls-Royce have confirmed their participation and support for the exhibition organised by Farnborough International.

Scheduled for March 19-20, 2025, at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Hampshire, UK, home to the renowned Farnborough International Airshow, the event aims to drive innovation in the commercial space age and strengthen space domain defence. Bringing together international governments, space commands, agencies, leading manufacturers, startups, and esteemed academics, the show promises to be the premier gathering for the entire space ecosystem in the UK.

The first wave of speakers confirmed include:

Babcock, operator of the UK’s Skynet military satellite system, will showcase cutting-edge space technologies and sponsor the Satellite Stage, a hub for discussions on satellite trends and challenges. Neal Misell, Chief Executive of Babcock’s Mission Systems, highlighted the importance of space for national security and the opportunity to collaborate on skills, security, and future solutions.

Rolls-Royce will present its Micro-Reactor program, exploring nuclear power for a future Moon base. They join industry leaders like Viasat, Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, and others at the event.

Farnborough International Space show will run alongside the 40th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment (ISRSE-40), a globally recognised conference held in the UK for the first time. Scheduled for 17–21 March 2025, the symposium will bring together experts to advance remote sensing technologies and data analysis critical to Earth observation and space applications. Attendees will include senior leaders from organizations such as NASA, ESA, DLR, JAXA, and ASI.
