Dubai Airshow 2025: Day 4 flying display puts focus on fighters, teams and future flight

Expect more heart-pumping aerial acrobatics during Day 4 of Dubai Airshow 2025.

The fourth day of the Dubai Airshow 2025 flying display delivers a compact but dense mix of jet teams, frontline fighters, commercial aircraft and advanced air mobility, according to today’s schedule approved by Flight Control Committee Chairman Brigadier General Abdulnasir Al Hameedi.

The programme starts at 13:30 with a 29-minute performance by the Baltic Bees, bringing their trademark tight formations and coloured smoke over Dubai. They hand over at 13:59 to the F-35, which conducts a 15-minute air-start routine showcasing short climbs, tight turns and low-speed handling.

At 14:14, Marche Verte begins a 30-minute slot, extending the afternoon’s aerobatic focus before the fast jets return. The Mirage 2000-9 flies at 14:44 for eight minutes, followed at 14:52 by a nine-minute display from the Airbus A350, providing the day’s only widebody commercial-jet appearance.

Rotary-wing capability steps into the spotlight at 15:01 with a seven-minute routine from the KA-52 attack helicopter. The fighter theme resumes at 15:08 with India’s Tejas, which has a nine-minute display ahead of a high-energy aerobatic routine from the Extra 330 at 15:17.

Future flight returns at 15:28, when Joby’s eVTOL flies a nine-minute demonstration, continuing the show’s emphasis on advanced air mobility and electric propulsion. At 15:37, the UAE Air Force F-16 takes over for a nine-minute appearance before one of the longest segments of the day: India’s Surya Kiran team flies from 15:46 to 16:16, delivering another 30 minutes of formation aerobatics to show attendees.

The closing sequence combines high-profile military and commercial hardware. At 16:16, the Sukhoi Su-57 performs an eight-minute display, followed by an eight-minute flight from the COMAC C919 at 16:24, reinforcing China’s commercial ambitions.

The programme concludes with a 28-minute display by the Russian Knights starting at 16:32, closing Day 4 with another headline Sukhoi formation routine. In total, today’s flying programme runs 3 hours and 30 minutes.
