Private aviation operator Avantto has added the Epic E1000 GX turboprop to its fleet in Latin America.
The company, which offers fractional ownership of jets and helicopters, identified the need for a turboprop and formed a partnership with Epic Aircraft LLC to offer the aircraft to its customers. The first two aircraft will be delivered by the end of this year.
“We have great confidence in the partnership with Epic Aircraft and the success of the E1000 GX. We have placed an order for 34 planes for the fractional program, to be delivered over a span of five years,” confirmed Rogério Andrade, CEO of Avantto.
The addition of the Epic turboprop to the fleet is part of Avantto’s planned expansion strategy which will see new operational bases open in the states of Bahia, Mato Grosso and Goiás in Brazil.
According to Andrade, the aircraft will be used to enhance the service capacity of the sharing program in regions with high demand for flying but limited availability of commercial flights.
Commenting on the deal, Doug King, CEO of Epic Aircraft, said, “We are excited to launch our sales in Brazil through this long-term partnership with Avantto, a leader in the country’s aviation sector. This agreement signifies our mutual commitment to providing top-notch aviation solutions to the Latin American market.”
According to Andrade, Avantto’s extensive operational experience and growth strategy aligns with Epic Aircraft’s innovation, making it a natural partnership,
“We are the largest and foremost aircraft sharing company in the country,” he explained. “For over a decade, we have innovated processes, which is why Epic Aircraft attracted us so much due to its technology, operational costs, and performance.”
