He is a passionate private pilot, flying a vintage de Havilland Chipmunk, and an active member of numerous organisations, including the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Air and Space Power Association. Now the Communications Director at an owner-managed UK aviation business, he also advises several warbird operators on their communications and marketing.
