The Striker II helmet-mounted display (HMD) builds upon BAE Systems’ current Striker HMD, which has been deployed on Eurofighter Typhoon and Gripen fleets.
Paul Smith, Aircrew Advisor/Eurofighter Typhoon pilot, BAE Systems weapon integration, said: “Rather than minutes to target the enemy, you’re looking at seconds and that’s really going to save coalition lives.”
BAE Systems describes Striker II as a “fully digital solution that provides exceptional night vision and target tracking technology within a fully integrated visor-projected HMD system.”
