At Dubai Airshow, Airbus showcased the C295 with an armed ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) configuration for the first time. Miguel Candeal Moralis, IRS Marketing, Airbus, told us more about it.
A C295 was exhibited on static display, flanked by a wide range of weapons which have been selected to be integrated onto the platform.
The company has signed a series of agreements with air-to-surface weapon suppliers, paving the way for flight-trials to qualify their products to equip the C295.
