Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, Peter Kyle, confirms his attendance for Farnborough International Space Show 2025 as registration officially opens.
Speaking in the House of Commons on 16 October, Kyle stated that Farnborough [International] has done an astonishing job at getting British aviation into the global news and “the fact that Farnborough is now getting into space, is something we should celebrate.”
Developed ‘by the sector for the sector,’ the Space Show will take place from 19-20 March 2025 at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. Providing a networking platform for the global space community across industry, defence, government and academia, it will be co-located with the world-renowned International Symposium on Remote Sensoring of Environment (ISRSE-40). The latter will take place 17-21 March.
More than 50 countries will be represented across the 6,000 sqm show floor with exhibitors including L3Harris, Cornwall Space Cluster, Rayfast, Lockheed Martin, Viasat and KIPSE alongside others. The main stage theatre programme will deliver sessions covering commercial space, operations and manufacturing, sustainability, security and defence, space exploration and earth observation. Meanwhile the UK Government Hub will elevate the Government’s backing for a domestic aerospace, defence and space sector while pioneering start-ups will be able to showcase their innovations at the Launch Pad. There’ will also be an Investor Centre as well as the Business Connections Exchange which will provide opportunities for face-to-face meetings between industry stakeholders, suppliers and financiers.
Describing the event as “pioneering”, Kevin Craven, CEO of ADS Group, expressed his delight at supporting the show during a time when the UK space industry is more pivotal than ever. “The £17.5 billion UK space industry contributes £7 billion to the UK economy,” he stated. “This pioneering new exhibition will allow the industry to leverage a trusted convening power across advanced manufacturing sectors, with a particular focus on political and international stakeholders.”
