Transatlantic carrier Norse Atlantic has announced a record load factor of 89% in September.

Last month saw an average load factor of 89%, which represents an 11% increase year-on-year. The airline carried 146,688 passengers across 513 flights compared to a year earlier, including 29 charters operated throughout the month. The carrier also completed 100% of scheduled flights in September, while 81% of flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.

Bjorn Tore Larsen CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic commented: “We are delighted to mark another record month for the airline with 89% load factor being the highest in our history. Having begun to reduce our own network flying in line with seasonality I am pleased to highlight that our charter operations have in turn increased this month and will continue to do so.”

He added that in September Norse sold more than two million tickets since starting operations in 2022. “Furthermore we have released for sale the final flights in our summer 2025 season going up to the end of October, allowing customers to book ahead and take advantage of our great value fares,” he said.

The airline, which primarily offers low-cost flights between Europe and the US, operates a fleet of Boeing 787-9s.
