American Airlines has completed its list of US states served, with yesterday’s launch of six daily services between Philadelphia and Delaware marking the final state in the carrier’s collection.

However, passengers travelling between Philadelphia International Airport and Delaware’s New Castle Airport will do so via The Landline Company; offering ‘secure-to-secure’ airport-to-airport connections via scheduled coach services.

The launch of this service “unlocks the ability for American Airlines customers to start and end their journey in Delaware – AA’s last unserved US state,” explained vice president and head of revenue at The Landline Company Nick Johnson, who added he was “excited to continue expanding [the] partnership in 2025 and beyond”.

“Landline service in partnership with American Airlines is booked just like any other American Airlines flight,” confirmed the coach service provider, with passengers able to check baggage and enjoy a “seamless connection” from airport to airport. Passengers will also be able to earn AAdvantage miles through Landline services, just as they would through flights.

The road transport provider also offers flight bundle offers with Sun Country and United Airlines to and from selected destinations.
