Liebherr-Aerospace and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) have announced a five-year agreement for heat exchanger maintenance across the Air France KLM Group’s A320ceo/neo and A220 fleets, as well as for fleets maintained by AFI KLM E&M.

Under this new partnership, Liebherr-Aerospace will carry out re-coring services for heat exchangers at its air management systems facility in Toulouse, France.

Re-coring, a process that involves replacing the core matrix of heat exchangers, will help ensure efficient performance and quick turnaround times for the fleet.

The agreement will cover both the Air France KLM Group and external customers’ maintenance requirements, aimed at maximising operational efficiency and aircraft reliability.

Liebherr-Aerospace’s expertise in OEM maintenance and service will play a central role in meeting the high standards for airworthiness and return-to-service times.
