FDH Aero, a leader in supply chain solutions for the aerospace and defence sectors, has been recognised as one of the “Best Places to Work in Aviation” by Aviation Business News.

The accolade coincides with the company’s 60th anniversary, highlighting its commitment to fostering a “positive, diverse and innovative” work environment.

“We are proud to be named a Best Place to Work in our industry and to celebrate our extraordinary employees who commit to our culture of respect, authenticity and accountability,” said Kimberly Grant, Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources for FDH Aero.

FDH invests in employees in a variety of ways – including professional development and educational opportunities, mentoring, competitive compensation and family-friendly benefits – so that they can bring their best selves to work and provide industry-leading service to our customers and partners. We are committed to continually growing these programs and offerings as our workforce expands.”

Lee Hayhurst, Group Editorial Director at ABN, said: “We know, because we are having conversations constantly with companies across the sector, how critical it is to attract and retain the right talent and skills, particularly following COVID when the sector lost a lot of experienced people. Best Places to Work in Aviation was always about ABN being able to champion the sector to a new generation of workers who will be critical for the future of the industry by celebrating those firms that are doing a great job with their people.”

FDH Aero has set itself apart in terms of workplace diversity, with 51% of its global workforce comprising women and 58% representing underrepresented groups. This diverse talent pool has been a key factor in the company’s ongoing success. As part of its growth strategy, FDH Aero continues to acquire smaller companies and integrate them into its operations, while also implementing initiatives such as an Employee Resource Group for women and a company-wide intranet to keep staff connected and informed.

The recognition as a top employer comes as FDH Aero continues to strengthen its position in the aerospace and defence industries, not only through its strategic acquisitions but also through its dedication to creating a supportive and forward-thinking workplace.
