Exeter Airport is set to welcome KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as a new international carrier, with daily flights to Amsterdam launching on 30 March 2025.

This new route reconnects Exeter to Amsterdam following the loss of a direct link in 2019 due to Flybe’s collapse.

The route will be operated by KLM’s Embraer 175 aircraft, providing a quick and convenient connection to Southwest England and offering travellers seamless access to KLM’s extensive global network via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

The Exeter route is part of KLM’s broader expansion in its European network, which also includes the introduction of flights to Ljubljana, Slovenia, and seasonal services to Biarritz, France.

To Ljubljana, daily flights from Amsterdam begin on 30 March 2025, operated by an Embraer 190.

For Biarritz, flights to the French Basque seaside city will commence on 19 April 2025. Daily services will run during the summer peak, reducing to twice weekly in winter.
