First firm order secured: Eve sells 50 eVTOLs on the eve of the Paris Air Show

June 15, 2025

A day before the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show officially opens, Eve Air Mobility has signed a binding deal for up to 50 of its electrical vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
The manufacturer signed with Revo, an urban air mobility (UAM) operator headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as well as its parent company Omni Helicopters International (OHI).
It’s the first firm order for Eve’s eVTOL and includes associated entry into service and aftermarket support via Eve’s TechCare package.

Eve CEO Johann Bordais described the deal as a ‘pivotal step’ for the manufacturer.
“By moving from concept to implementation, we are not only advancing our commercial roadmap but also helping to shape a robust and sustainable UAM ecosystem, setting a global benchmark for eVTOL deployment,” he added.
Launch operator for Eve confirmed
With this order, Revo will become the launch operator for Eve’s eVTOl in Sao Paulo. The company is planning delivery of the first aircraft at the end of 2027. Eve has previously secured thousands of letters of intent, but this is the first time an order has been backed by a financial commitment.
“These eVTOL aircraft will be the cornerstone of our ambitious plan to revolutionize Revo’s high touch mobility service,” says Revo CEO Joao Welsh, “offering a safe, sustainable, and scalable business that will connect communities and redefine convenience.”
Sao Paulo is a hotbed of aerial mobility, with over 400 registered helicopters and around 2,000 takeoffs and landings each day.

Revo currently taps into this via a door-to-door mobility service, integrating car and luggage services with scheduled helicopter service connecting key locations. These include daily flights between the international airport (GRU) and Zona Sul, a router that would take up to three hours by car but can be completed in 10 minutes byt helicopter.
“Adding up to 50 of Eve Air Mobility’s eVTOLs to our fleet furthers our diversification journey and leadership in the low altitude economy,” said Jeremy Akel, Group CEO, Omni Helicopters International. “Our partnership with Eve is evidence of our shared vision to bring to life revolutionary mobility ideas that transform how people move within cities.”
Eve will be showcased at Paris Air Show
During the Paris Air Show next week, Eve is showcasing a full-scale mockup of its Eve-100 aircraft.
The mockup features an all-new cabin design, four blade propellers and wheeled landing gear, reflective of Eve’s design evolution as it nears entry into service.
