Eve Air Mobility has signed up a further four suppliers for its electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft currently under development.
As a result of the deal, KRD Luftfahrttechnik GmbH (KRD) will supply its windows, Latecoere will supply the aircraft’s doors while, RALLC and Alltec will both supply fuselage components.
Eve Air Mobility CEO Johann Bordais said KRD’s Kasiglas windows were chosen due to their lightweight durability while Latecoere already provides doors for a number of aircraft manufacturers, including Embraer.
Meanwhile, RALLC and Alltec, which are both headquartered in Brazil, will supply a number of fuselage components.
Bordais added: “Eve has assembled a strong list of global and local suppliers with a reputation for not only delivering outstanding quality, but doing so reliably.
“These long-term relationships will cover the aircraft’s entire life cycle including all prototypes, production and aftermarket service and operational support.”
