Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has signed a new deal with Pegasus Airlines to provide aviation fuel at Riga and Tallinn international airports.

The deal between the international provider of ground handling, aircraft refuelling and logistics services and the Turkish low cost carrier marks the first time they have worked together.

BGS Group head of commerce Vitalis Dudys said the new partnership stems from BGS’s acquisition of Nafteli Eesti AS last summer which has strengthened the company’s presence in the Estonian aircraft fuelling market and allowed the company to sign up new clients.

He added: “Pegasus has a strong standing in Riga and Tallinn’s airports. Both the latter and the former are demonstrating significant growth.

“Needless to say, we see great future potential in these markets.”
