Azzera Celeste programme selected for Transport Canada testing programme
Sustainable aviation solutions provider Azzera has been awarded a contract through the Government of Canada’s Innovative Solutions programme to test Celeste, its digital emissions management platform.
As part of the pilot project managed by Transport Canada, Azzera is developing a fully integrated solution for three Canadian airlines to trial. “Transport Canada’s testing of the Celeste platform will provide valuable insights about the potential of the innovative technology to drive meaningful change,” commented Puja Mahajan, CEO of Azzera. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating how Celeste can revolutionise emissions management for the betterment of the industry and the environment”.
Azzera’s digital platform provides access to voluntary and compliance carbon credit trading, sustainable aviation fuel certificates, fleet management software integration and compliance market segregation services. This will help airlines meet international standards, including ICAO’s CORSIA.
“Effectively [consolidating] cradle-to-grave emissions management into a single solution,” Celeste will help its partner airlines “benefit from a streamlined approach to emissions management and a one-stop shop for mitigation solutions,” explains the company.
