Aviator Capital leads digital shift in aircraft leasing with Fly Forward rollout

October 7, 2025

The aircraft leasing sector’s digital overhaul continues to gather pace, with Aviator Capital Management becoming the first customer to implement Fly Forward®, a next-generation lease and asset-management system designed by Lease Logic and distributed by Zeevo Group.
The launch, announced at ISTAT EMEA 2025 in Prague, brings modern forecasting, automation, and real-time fleet visibility to an area of aviation that has long relied on spreadsheets and bespoke databases.
“With increasingly complex leasing structures and intensifying competition, aircraft lessors need modern, scalable software that facilitates real-time insights, seamless collaboration, and process automation,” said John McCartney, Chief Technology Officer at Zeevo Group.
Aviator Capital embraces the future of leasing technology
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, with an additional office in Dublin, Aviator Capital Management is an established aircraft leasing and alternative asset management firm specialising in used commercial aircraft and engines.
The company manages six pooled investment funds and leases over 100 aircraft to more than. 75 operators across both developed and emerging markets. Its in-house team handles acquisitions, technical oversight, and investor relations, supported by more than a century of combined experience among its principals.

Executive Vice President Michael Reiter said the adoption of Fly Forward reflects Aviator’s commitment to scalable growth: “At Aviator, we value innovation and see technology as a differentiator. Fly Forward provides all the tools we need to scale effectively and thrive in a dynamic market.”
How Fly Forward transforms aircraft leasing
Developed by Lease Logic and distributed by Zeevo Group, Fly Forward® is a cloud-based lease and asset management platform purpose-built for aircraft lessors. It integrates commercial, technical, contractual, and financial data into a single unified system, providing lessors with real-time visibility across their entire portfolios.
The platform goes beyond basic record-keeping. It offers:
- Contract and compliance automation — alerts for expiries and milestones
- Fleet and maintenance tracking — live updates on aircraft, engines, and shop visits
- Finance integration — invoicing, reserve tracking, and cash reconciliation
- Forecasting tools — scenario modelling for lease returns, transitions, and cash flows
Fly Forward’s architecture is designed to evolve. Its developers are already working on AI-driven features to automate data extraction from lease documents and assist in maintenance event analysis, technology aimed at eliminating weeks of manual effort.

McCartney said the system’s value lies in its role as “the great connector,” explaining: “Fly Forward fits seamlessly into a lessor’s operations and brings decades of Zeevo professionals’ experience at top leasing companies directly into the platform.”
A wider shift in aircraft leasing technology
For Aviator, the deployment marks a major operational upgrade, but its significance extends across the industry. As lessors contend with rising portfolio complexity, stricter reporting, and compressed margins, the demand for integrated, predictive tools is growing rapidly.
Zeevo CEO Joey Johnsen said the project demonstrates how digitalisation is transforming the leasing business. “From deal origination to lease management and forecasting, Fly Forward brings it all together,” she said.
The Aviator rollout sets the stage for wider adoption of the platform, showcasing how data-driven systems can redefine lease management for lessors of every size.
