Avelo Airlines: America’s most on-time in June 2024
Avelo Airlines has claimed the accolade of America’s most reliable airline in June 2024, results from aviation data services company Anuvu has confirmed, with 84.3% of the carrier’s flights running to schedule.
The airline’s monthly on-time performance – calculated as a flight arriving at or leaving its destination within 15 minutes of its scheduled time – eclipsed the industry standard of 73.6% and “far exceeded” its nearest competitor’s 78.6.2%, stated Avelo.
“As we enter the second half of 2024, Avelo continues to distinguish itself as America’s most reliable airline,” commented Avelo Airlines founder and CEO Andrew Levy. “Our customers can count on Avelo to get them where they want to go more reliably than any other airline. And when you couple this with the ease and speed of the small hometown airports we fly to, there is not a more seamless way to travel than Avelo”.
The carrier’s June cancellation rate of 0.12% also “led the industry, far ahead of the industry flight cancellation rate of 1.26%,” conclude Avelo. Of the 1,635 flights scheduled to operate last month, only two did not run.
